Received the Franklin 2 create your own in Buck Brown leather on 18/6/2026.
The quick access slot and cash slot is the reason I start checking on the Franklin.
However it doesn’t have a International Franklin 2, still decide to give it a try, it barely fits the folded HKD$100 bills.
I m surprised the Buck Brown leather is thicker than the brown I chose on Finnigan and International Franklin. It is a bit stiffer and more of a premium feel.
With almost 5 layers of leather folding altogether, it definitely feels more bulky than the other 2.

Folding the bills in half and slide it in from the side
Able to access cash without opening the flap and it keeps the wallet tight

Also tried tucking the flap inside , this way the whole wallet is more packed and slim. Also shows the company stamp
It’s alternative way to carry the Franklin 2.

Looking forward to see how the patina develops on this leather as the 6 months Finnigan is doing great.

Soft and slim . Tuck in the HK$10, 20,50,100,500 bills and some coupons they all fit well
With the quick access slot for express travel card.
Never thought I would like the Franklin before as Finnigan Brown was my first pick.
Having 6 cards 10 bills and few coupons it still keep the slim profile.
The problem now is having hard time choosing which one to rock.

Was bless to make the switch from the regular “Big Finn” to this one , and it’s easily one of the best I’ve owned. It comfortably holds up to 15 cards and 10 bills without feeling bulky or overstuffed. The design is sleek, compact, and fits perfectly in my pocket while still providing plenty of storage. The card slots are secure but easy to access, and the cash compartment keeps bills organized. The build quality feels durable and well-made, making it great for everyday use. If you’re looking for a wallet that balances capacity, convenience, and style, this is an excellent choice.

A fine addition to the Lost Dutchman line up. The “2” offers a subtle difference that allows for easier removal and storing of cash without any loss of storage. I have many cards I feel obligated to carry, and despite initial concern that I was giving up storage space for just a bit of ease with bills I have been very pleased that I can cram this Big Finn version 2 with just as many cards.

I also had concerns that it might be a little loose due to the intentional design difference. However, the 2 keeps contents just as secure and wears as comfortably as the original.

I think it’s a bit easier to avoid the crinkling of money with this version so those who prefer crisp bills may want to go with the Big Finn 2. Out of loyalty to the original I wanted to not like it…….but now I am looking forward to adding a few more of these to my collection.

Love the update! Ever so slightly narrowed from the original Big Finn but without sacrificing any capacity. The new cash slot only enhances the usability.

Honestly when i saw this wallet in ads i fell in love with the design and colors, i made a finnigan with buttero yellow strap and casing with bordeaux stitching and ive had it for about a week already and its already molding to my pocket and deepening in color. Holds more cash than you think it can handle and its just a beautiful wallet, would definitely buy again.

I had my big Finn 2 for the past 2 weeks the easy cash access is the best option for people want to carry cash. With the cash and the cards I got. It really fits into my lifestyle.

My only complaint (if you can call it that) with the original Franklin was that it was a little fidgety when it came to cash. Enter the Franklin 2 and BAM! - problem solved! It’s now super easy to manage your cash as well as your cards all in a very slim profile. The russet leather is beautiful, starting out very light in color but will certainly develop a wonderful patina with use. On top of all this, the craftsmanship is superb. Excellent product!!

I didn’t order a new one. but the wallet I have had for a year and half is holding up fine.

Overall: Great upgrade!!

Positives:

1. Easier access to cash on the right.

2. Narrower body rectified the card rattling experienced with the original Big Finn.

3. The straight easy access card slot is neutral for both right and left-handed users!

Negatives:
1. No left-handed version available just like Franklin 2.

2. Slightly narrower flap has potential to expose edge of cash slips when closed!!

I have quite a few wallets from the lost Dutchman and I can’t say enough good about this company. You will not find a better handmade wallet period. Their craftsmanship is bar none the best out there. I will be continuing my collection because I can’t just have a few, I want them all. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you so much to Nate and the crew for creating something so amazing. I hope one day everyone will be carrying a lost Dutchman wallet.

The Mojave roughout leather feels so satisfying. Although the roughness makes it a little cumbersome to tuck in the flap to secure the wallet. I love my Big Finn, thank you for the quality craftsmanship. 🤙🏽

Got the Havana in burgundy, my second Finnigan. Leather comes broken in right out of the box. LD wallets have helped me evolve my everyday EDC setup which I won’t be changing for a long time. To the leather hands in AJ, keep on keepin on.
