A kids dream.

Nate (our founder) started leathercraft when he was just 13 years old. He fell in love with designing and creating products with unique function and lifetime durability. Throughout high school he continued to refine his craft and began selling to friends and family. Eventually, he opened an Etsy shop where he could share his craftsmanship with the world. It wasn't an overnight success, but over the course of 1.5 years (while working construction full time), the Lost Dutchman Leather brand began to grow. He went full-time in 2020, and (long story short) we are now a team of 6 and have shipped over 60,000 orders.
