Love the wallet. Simple and minimalistic. Definitely my #1 selection from all the wallets I have.
Held up so far and already well broken in
all good thank you
As always… beautiful wallets. Awesome front pocket wallet. Beautiful leather and stitching. Perfect wallet for a minimalist.
I like that it's a minimalist design, compact, and made with real leather.

Amazing quality, cant wait to see it patina over the years
This is an update to my earlier "i like it" review. With my Franklin-like modification, i realized i could keep my two most used cards on the outside of the flap which is super convenient. With two cards inside the flap along with three to five tri-fold USD bills, the two cards on the outside are nice and snug. Fewer than three bills inside leaves the two outside-the-flap cards a little too loose but i can always keep everything inside the flap if needed. The wallet has held up very well. i don't like it, i love it.
Hi guys from Italy. Got my Finnigan here almost a month ago and it’s everything I had hoped !. It’s the size that I love and how it can fit perfectly in the front pocket of jeans. All my life I’ve disliked carrying big wallets so my original Finnigan is fantastic. After only 1 month it’s already taking on a bit of patina and getting a little darker. If it wasn’t for the taxes and shipping I’d think about another, guess I’ll have to move to the States. Best wishes all, Ryan
I am a fan of the Franklin, a vertical flap origami wallet from Lost Dutchman Leather. This particular iteration is made with waxed flesh Horween Chromexcel leather. This type of leather has the pull-up effect due to the wax and oil inside the leather. However, in this limited drop, they put the flesh side of the leather outside that has been vegetable tanned, hand dyed, waxed and hand-glazed to give it the shine and amazing texture. Over time, it will develop a nice patina due to the wax wearing off, especially in high friction areas. The edges have been sealed by burnishing not painting. The advantage of this particular leather is that it will be more durable and water resistant. I have 7 cards inside the pocket and 1 in the outside back slit and 11 slips of cash inside the pocket. 1 of my cards is a tracking card which has the thickness of 2 credit cards. I have a couple more of the Franklins and 2 Mini Franklins in the same type of leather, but of other colors— Natural and Mahogany. I love both the Franklin and Mini Franklin, but if I use the Mini Franklin, I will have to leave the tracker card home to avoid risk of over-stretching the pocket. I am fond of the Franklin as it was my first origami wallet (along with the no-stitch Finnigan) in Russet color, made of Glazed Harness leather from a renowned tannery— Wickett & Craig. Both the Franklin and Mini Franklin wallets got the highest score on Mark Ward’s Walletopia. I love the Franklin (and the Mini) as they are so light for not having any stitches. This allows the thin form, making it a nice front-pocket-carry wallet. It has adequate space. Looks and feels great with awesome smell. The easy access card slit in the back is great for easy card extraction and/or tap-pay. In light of being stitch-less, the company can offer these wallets at much lower prices compared to their counterparts with stitches— the Big Finn and Finnigan, respectively. The Lost Dutchman is one of my favorite wallet companies. I am quite sure that I will be back to purchase varieties of their wallets with exciting new leather options during future limited drops!!
This is the one I have and it’s a great wallet. So well built and feels great in your hands. I was lucky to have gotten it because of the great customer service I did. This was my second purchase and won’t be my last. Lost Dutchman collection has started I highly recommend them
The Mini-Franklin is a nice minimal card-holder style wallet It has one pocket that can hold at least 3 cards and 5 bills folded three times (to card size) or a few more if folded length-wise. Anything less and everything would be a bit too loose and possibly fall out. It could hold a few more cards or more cash before it would get too tight. It is very much a card-holder style wallet, plus room for a bit of folded cash if you want. It can also be used with more folded-cash and coins in the main pocket, and just one or two cards in the outer "pocket" behind the origami fold. I like it very much a simple front-pocket card-holder.
The Franklin is an excellent, simple wallet. It has one pocket that can hold at least 6 cards and 10 unfolded bills. Anything less and everything would be held a little too loosely. It could hold a few more cards or quite a bit more more cash before it would get too tight. I kind of wish the cash could be retrieved from the side, more easily as in a bi- fold, but that would also require some stitching or something that would make this a less simple (and non-origami) design. Overall I think it's great minimal, front-pocket wallet and will use it every day.
I saw this wallet and said I need to get it. I’m so glad I did! It’s great holds a ton of cards and cash. This was my 1st purchase. And wasn’t and won’t be my last. Lost Dutchman is a great choice if your looking for quality, great product and awesome customer service look no further
