Second Jackson from Lost Dutchman Leather

This is my honest review: This is my second Jackson from Lost Dutchman Leather as I destroyed my first. I dropped it in hot water. As I held my poor wallet in my hand my first thought wasn't about the contents, but where did I get this wallet from. I could't remember the name of the company who created this majestic Burgundy leather card holder laced together with Bordeaux heavy duty thread and embossed with the letters "RMFT." I carried that wallet for a couple of years, probably would have lasted a long time if I wasn't drin... didn't have butter fingers. So, the search is on of where I got this wallet. I remember seeing an advertisement with a young man talking about the company he created. This young man spoke so eloquently about his passion for making leather goods. The words he spoke about his love for leather craft made me want to support his business, albeit the wallet only cost about $55. After a day of searching the web I found it. I guess over time, more products have been added to the offering from Lost Dutchman Leather, but I was interested in replacing my damaged card holder. Well now look what we have now, GOLD FOILING on the monogram AND I can add more characters to the monogram. Yes. I immediately started to order a new Jackson. This time I continued with the Burgundy leather, but chose Red thread. As for the monogram, I went with GOLD FOILING "RMFTR." I love this wallet.

We use only the best full-grain, vegetable tanned American cowhide for our products. The majority of our leather is tanned at Wickett & Craig Tannery in Curwensville, Pennsylvania.

We hand sew our products using the time-tested Saddle Stitching method. This traditional stitch can only be done by hand, and ensures that the thread will never unravel or come apart.

The thread we sew with is Ritza 25 "Tiger" thread -- a thick, braided polyester that is waxed to provide extra protection from wear.
