This Russet strap is close to 6 months old. I was waiting to see how it would last. I was a bit worried about the hardware but no issues whatsoever to date.. This is the most comfortable leather watch strap I’ve owned thus far. And the patina is really starting to rock on the thing. It is very comfortable and took maybe 2 weeks to break in at the most. Not too shabby for an introduction to watch straps from this crew. I haven’t found one better!

This is a near perfect execution of a very simple accessory that is often a miss. The color of the leather is beautiful. The cut and sizing is perfect, it fit great on my watch and so far fits great on my wrist. It’s also extremely soft leather that wears very comfortably. Highly recommend picking one of these up.

I want to love the watch strap. The leather is great quality and I love the overall look, but as many other reviews have stated, the watch strap is too short. I used it for a few days hoping it would stretch, but it simply won't work for men with larger frames.

Very high quality strap. Looks great and is very comfortable. Lost Dutchman really knows leather and it shows in all of their products.
A suggestion, from a guy that has bought many watch straps. For the 3 strap colors you have already, some options for the stitching color would be great. Black on black is classic, but I like to have accent color(s) with the stitching that compliments the dial I'm pairing with.
The other thing I would say, is that I see a lot of variety with the wallet colors and leather types. It would be really cool to get some of those for the watch straps. Given the lower amount of material input, and presumably work, to manufacture than a wallet, you could have a strong business case to expand this part of the business. Might I suggest a Drop of Watch Straps with some different styles as a test?

The Sol Strap – Russet

I’ve owned a lot of leather watch straps over the years, but the Sol Strap in Russet from Lost Dutchman is easily one of my favorites. The color is the first thing that stands out. It has this warm & natural tone that looks incredible in natural light and pairs well with just about any watch. After a few weeks of wear it’s already starting to develop that subtle patina that makes good leather special.

The craftsmanship is exactly what you’d expect from Lost Dutchman. The stitching is clean, the edges are nicely burnished, and the leather itself feels substantial without being stiff. It broke in quickly and is comfortable enough to wear all day. You can tell it’s made from quality full-grain leather and not the mass-produced stuff you see everywhere else.

If you’re looking for a strap that will age beautifully and only get better with time, the Sol Strap in Russet is an easy recommendation.

Finished work, durability and classic design. The best strap in my collection.

Personally I wish it were thicker and longer not being lined doesn't bother me.

This is my second product from the company. Same stellar quality as the Big Finn wallet. I will say if your wrist is on the bigger side. Sizing likely will be an issue. I use the third hole to fit my wrist and I find that I need to tuck the strap back throughout the day as it slips out of the securing bands. Happy with the product overall!

Great strap! If you have a larger wrist it may be a bit snug. Average sizes will just fine.
Wears wonderfully with my 42mm Laco flieger.
